Most recently President and Chief Commercial Officer of DEEP, the ocean-technology company, which he helped lead from stealth to market. Before that, two decades running money and building businesses. He was Group Chief Investment Officer of a multi-billion-dollar investment company, where he ran one of its investment firms as CEO and CIO and helped build deeptech ventures. Earlier he was a global macro hedge fund manager, and before that shaped strategy for over $100 billion in portfolios at Citi. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University and is a Trustee of a non-profit military foundation. He is an army-family son, a former volunteer firefighter, and a lifelong athlete. Dalton's first user, and its most demanding one.

Biomedical research scientist and extreme-environment physiologist, and a Senior Scholar with the Duke University SPACE Initiative. Her career runs through Duke, the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, and the University of North Carolina, where she served as Vice Chair for Neurosurgery Research, and, until recently, as Scientific Director at DEEP. She has been a NASA NEEMO 21 aquanaut and managed a world-record-setting deep-cave exploration team. She read biochemistry at North Carolina State and took her PhD at Duke as the Office of Naval Research's first Undersea Medicine predoctoral awardee. She is a member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame, a Fellow National of the Explorers Club, and a recipient of the UHMS Young Scientist Award. She has been a cave, technical, and free diver since 1993.
